IOSSELLIANI nasce a Roma nel 1997 dall’incontro tra Roberta Paolucci e Paolo Giacomelli 

Caratterizzandosi  nella ricerca dei materiali, la prima collezione in maglia metallica acciaio e argento avrà subito un enorme successo, così come la successiva  collezione dei cristalli intagliati a mano.

In seguito fortemente influenzati dalla gioielleria classica attingono da questa memorie lontane e le uniscono ad una sensibilità che affida il suo valore comunicativo alla vitalità dei materiali.

I gioielli simbolici tipici dell’immaginario classico vengono interpretati con provocazione, per una memoria che si riscrive sempre.

Unendo tradizione e modernità creano una nuova gioielleria contemporanea che attraverso i suoi dettagli rimanda ad una percezione trasversale dell’oggetto.

Paolo Giacomelli studia letteratura e si laurea a pieni voti.

Lavora per passione in una delle ultime botteghe artigianali di gioielleria dove impara tutte le tecniche orafe tradizionali. É infatti lui stesso che realizza tuttora i prototipi delle collezioni Iosselliani.

Roberta Paolucci è designer e arredatrice d’interni.

Collaborazioni  esterne con Romeo Gigli, Missoni, Fiorucci , Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Kenzo, Antonio Marras.

IOSSELLIANI ha aperto nel 2004 il suo primo flagship store a Roma, nel 2008 a Tokyo Shibuya.

La collezione è presente da Barney’s, Joyce, Browns Focus, Lane Crowford, Hp France, Antonioli, Nuyorica, Pool, American Rag Cie, Harrod's, Harvey Nichols, Le Bon Marche', Liberty, Podium, Beymen.

IOSSELLIANI begins in Rome in 1997 from the gathering of Roberta Paolucci and Paolo Giacomelli.

Both designers’s research is based on new materials; their first collections,  in fact have a great success due to the special techniques used during production, such as a fusion of stainless steel mesh and silver as well as hand-carved crystals collection.

Strongly influenced by the Italian classic jewelry, Paolo and Roberta combine their love for vivid materials crafted  into modern shapes with the enormous heritage of tradition.

Traditional icons, classic ornaments and modern symbols are then bravely read and translated into a new perception of  details, creating a transversal, contemporary jewelry.

Paolo Giacomelli studies and graduates in literature with the highest grade.

He follows his passion for handcrafted jewels while apprenticing in one of the last “botteghe” in Rome, where he learns from a master artist the traditional goldsmith techniques. In fact, he still makes  all prototype of the IOSSELLIANI collection.

Roberta Paolucci is jewelry and interior designer.

They have both worked and cooperated with Romeo Gigli, Missoni, Fiorucci, Alessandro Dell’Acqua, Antonio Marras, Kenzo.
